Thank you for your kind words about my photography. I am always trying to learn more and improve. I do know the national geographic but I am nowhere near their standard yet.
Your soft sunset shots are lovely. If you want a suggestion...when photographing scenes like this it is best not to cut your shot in half with the horizon. It is called the rule of thirds. The horizon should either be one third or two thirds of the way down the shot. Like your first photo. However it is not a hard and fast rule...sometimes you may want a symmetrical effect, especially with reflections and then it is OK like in your last shot but without the grass/bushes in the foreground.
Hope you don't mind me saying.

Soft pastels! Love the colors, pure and mirror reflection!

Sallie, these pink skies and reflections are so lovely and peaceful - such a contrast to the dramatic sunrise of yesterday, still equally beautiful. It's been a frantic week for me, but wanted to let you know I scrolled down your earlier posts... Looks like you're having a grand time! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me in my corner of the globe too!

Even the sky put on a show for all the girls whose favourite color is pink.

Your pink pictures are so beautiful. I can't actually recall seeing a pink sky like that. Maybe I need to pay attention more. Thanks for sharing.
