the final photo is gorgeous and crisp!

Sallie, wow what a great shot! Hope you are enjoying your summer. I'm getting ready to head back to Florida on Saturday. I'm not looking to the drive....but I have to do what I have to do. Hope to see you and Bill when you return. Chat later. Judy

Wow! I love that first shot, with the sunrise reflected in the lake! There is a good reflection in the second shot, too, but as you say, it was clouding over...

I prefer the very early morning light!

Penny

What a difference only an hour can make, though each picture glows in its own right.

Yogi

I've learned to look at the skies early and often. Things change fast up there.

Very nice photos.

Regards!

What lovely photos - what a glorious red sky Sallie. The saying here is 'red sky at night shepherds delight, red sky in the morning shepherds warning'. I guess this is because that there are more sheep in NZ than sailboats ;-)

Stewart M - Australia

Hi there - cant make up my mind if I prefer the "in your face" colour of the first or the toned back colour of the second!

Thanks for you kind words about my blog - as you may guess, I spend a while trying to get the words to say what I want them to. I don’t know what it means but more people follow my "phot-blog" than my wordy blog. As far as I'm concerned the photo-blog is just a brief thing, and I really want people to read my other blog! So (and there is always a "so") if you know anybody who may like my "wordy" blog could you pass on the URL!
Of course you under no obligation to do this!!

Cheers - Stewart M - Australia

Arija
