Great SkyWatch post!

Awesome way to begin a day -- any day! Terrific captures, Sallie!! Wishing you and your family a most wonderful and very Merry Christmas!!

Hi Sallie.
Attractive photos indeed.
I am pleased to report that the 21st has arrived in Australia. Not even thunder and lightning at midnight, no rain either! I guess those Mayans got their dates muddled up.
"December 21st 2012 – a date that is well known globally. Several hundred years ago, the Ancient Mayans predicted the apocalypse on this very date."
No Apocalypse here, and no bloody rain either, still the swelter box!
Maybe the "mayans" will grace us with some rain today?? ha ha!
So tomorrow you can post more photos from Florida to show us that you are still in the land of the living also??

I love the last sky photo Sallie... hope all is well with you and your journey.

so beautiful Sallie!

Gorgeous skies, Sallie! The last shot is beautiful. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

these are beautiful.

A gorgeous sky of golden hues .. welcoming you back home.

Beautiful vibrant colors...here is it gray and more gray..

OMGosh, that first shot is so serene, like I've been invited to share that view from a resort balcony.

Oh, what astounding sky shots! Gorgeous.

wonderful golden glow in that second shot... happy holidays!

I should have become a Snowbird-we've had heavy rain since Wednesday lunchtime! The early photos are lovely.

Nice shots!

The end of the world thing seems to have been a bit less dramatic than I expected!

Thanks for the comments throughout the year!

Have a great Christmas

I never tire of looking at the sky. Here in Michigan, in the winter, the sky is mostly covered in grey clouds, but the sky is all the more beautiful when the overcast clouds give way to open skies.

Beautiful photos and quote!
Wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi Sallie.. No sun in Ohio today..windy and snow..Send me some of your sunshine....Love your photos....

Beautiful shots! Merry Christmas!

you caught some dramataic skies. :)

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :)

Nice sky pictures - with clouds!
But we want less clouds and more sun right now!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hugs Pia

What a beautiful sunrise, worth getting up to see. I enjoyed my visit to your part of the country last week, especially considering it was -4 at my house the morning before we left, and -2 with a blizzard warning the morning after we got back!

Wonderful colours and very dramatic. Merry Christmas, Sallie! Looking forward to following you more next year :)

Love the colors on the nature's canvas, so much tranquility to be found in them! Gorgeous shots as always, Sallie. Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful year ahead! :)

Beautiful shots and quote, Sallie !
