A late December evening for SKYWATCH FRIDAY
No traveling required for these views .... just an evening walk right here at Upriver
Skies were blue ... and pink .... and golden
And the moon was pure magic:

I have no place for this kind of shots. Down by my little wide streem the sun goes down at the wrong angle. :( Love your shots. It must have been a nice walk.

The skies where you spend half the year are indeed beautiful. We spent the last two weeks of the year in Oregon and I must tell you the skies were clear for most of it (although VERY cold) and we saw that same moon in it's beautiful splendor.

Twilight reflects its heavenly hues across the skies and water while Mr Moon plays peek a boo in the trees. Pure perfection!
Be well and happy, Sallie :)
