Blue skies and swirly surreal cloud reflections on the aptly named Peace River for SKYWATCH FRIDAY and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.
We'd had some rainy days earlier in the week, but the day we went out on the River it was beautiful.
We saw birds and alligators and learned some history of the area. And the cloud gazing was excellent.
Another beautiful February day in Southwest Florida.

Peace River. What a fitting name for this river. Your photos are peaceful as well as beautiful. I love cloud formations. They are poetry aloft.

I like the movement in the first photo! All such water here in northern Minnesota is very frozen. Our kids played on the frozen lake today, and we watched six deer walking across. Cars & trucks are still driving on the lakes, as well.
Been many months since we've seen the movement of bodies of water!
