For SKYWATCH FRIDAY and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS
Tuesday afternoon .... the twin Carver boats (ours and our good friends') at the transient dock, Cape Harbor (Cape Coral Florida).
Wednesday ..... beautiful Florida weather. Aren't we lucky to be here?
(Now wait for the rest of the story:)
Thursday morning -- through our boat's plastic windshield -- on our way home.
So sure, there's gotta' be a little rain sometimes ...
But does it really have to be when we're out in the middle of the Caloosahatchie River?
We survived our Cape Harbor Adventure. A little rain never hurt anyone -- especially these transplanted Oregonians.
We had a wonderful time!
Thanks to the Skywatch team and welcome to Yogi, the new host of SKYWATCH FRIDAY
AND
Thank you to James for WEEKEND REFLECTIONS
unfortunately we don't get to choose such things:-)

You certainly are lucky to be blessed with such fine weather (mostly).

Being on the other twin I have to say the Caloosahatchee is beautiful even in the rain. Love having weekends in the middle of the week!

Nice, warm photos - I'm sure you miss the rain sometimes. I love living where rain is something to savor and enjoy!

But how much sweeter it is after the rain. Certainly makes one appreciate the sunshine. Love the second shot of the buildings reflected in the water. So still that water is!

And we've only had 3 days this year without severe weather warnings! I should have become a Snow bird.....

Rain on a boat is not the nicest thing but I envy you for being on a boat in Florida. We have been there round this time of year and it was a lot better than winter here. :)))

Much as I love the sun, the DRY summer downunder has made me long for rain ... but I hope my wish isn't fulfilled TOO dramatically!
