We saw a "unicorn" (really a slightly-the-worst-for-wear Mountain Goat) while on this wonderfully scenic Jeep ride with our son a few years ago.

I'm loving your high-altitude photos from my state - they certainly are beautiful. I need to do some above-timberline hiking this year, it's been a while. I remember those summer snowdrifts when climbing 14ers!

Love your unicorn, Sallie.
I used to live in an area where there were mountain SHEEP. Very different from the mountain goats, but just as much fun to see.

No mountain goats in Europe ! I saw them, years ago, in Glacier park. It was a wonderful discovery !
