There is a fun English tradition (which I first learned about from my British Columbia blogging friend Hildred*). It says that "a person should say or repeat the word 'rabbit' or 'white rabbit' three times upon waking on the first day of every month, because doing so will ensure good luck for the duration of the month." (from Wikipedia).
And so ... since the first of August falls on Saturday Critter Day, here are some lucky bunnies from the Full-Time archives:
RABBIT, RABBIT, RABBIT!
Have a happy ... and lucky... August!

*AND: If you're not already visiting her, you will enjoy Hildred's wonderful blog "Day By Day" -- it is about much much more than superstition! I remembered her brief mention of this particular one because it was new to me and because I have always loved to see rabbits -- and take way too many pictures of them.
