What wonderful pictures! I have not travelled much but these pictures make me want to trade my car in for an RV, homeschool my child and go for it!
I've bookmarked your site for when I need a getaway while at my desk.

Sallie, Thank you for the compliment on my post makes posting all worth while. You manage to come up with some pretty interesting places yourself. I had no idea the "work in Progress" monument existed. Pretty neat. So Stay warm and may your lake be full... LOL

Oh my gosh you scared the crap out of me Sallie. Jumping out from behind those bushes like that to say hi on Delurker Day. Lol.
Thanks for visiting and saying hi. Your travels look like a blast. I didn't see any trips to Canada on your side bar. Have you ever been to beautiful British Columbia?

Hope your New Year is off to a great start. We have lots of snow and althought it is beautiful I wish we were headed for the valley in Texas. We sure miss the RV life especially in winter.

This is certainly a blog that I'll come back to visit often. Living in an RV is not on my bucket list, but I so luv hearing the stories from people who travel around in them. My son and family traveled from WI to Yellowstone in one this summer and enjoyed the experience. Travel safe.

TypePad HTML EmailHi Bill. We have visited Henry's Lake a couple of times; I even think I have a picture of it on the blog somewhere in an essay about fall. (I'll have to check). Anyway, it IS beautiful in that area! The only trouble with visiting for a couple of months during the summer season is: that's when it is pretty nice here in Oregon, where we have family ties (where we lived before we sold our stick house).
Thanks for dropping by our blog; I've checked yours out and your pictures are beautiful.

You ought to park at Red Rock Camp on Henrys Lake for a month or two next summer. I think you would love it.

HI there, I have just been reading your blog. Very interesting the places you have been and the things you have done.
I see you were HERE in McMinnville the later part of Sept., I realize you came with friends, but I could of driven out to see you for at least 15 Min. or so. We live ONLY about 4 Miles from Spruce Goose. NOT far at all. Sorry we missed you! You have been close to some of the places that we will be going thru in another 2 weeks or so. you are about 3 to 4 weeks a head of us. You left at a GOOD time, it has been quite cool in the evenings and early mornings. Beautiful in the day time, so we have been getting some nice walks in. Our daughter and grand daughter are coming for several days from Idaho on Thurs. Haven't seen them since April. Son in-law and grandson have to stay home as grandson has a job, can't miss it.
Well, this is enough for now. Take care, happy traveling!! Janice
