Beautiful! I spent a week there in September! I didn't want to come home!

Sallie (FullTime-Life)

So glad everybody enjoyed visiting our Coast with us. Whenever we go, we wonder why we don't spend more time there. We really were lucky with the weather this time too.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL photos of this lovely coastal area in Oregon. It's been a long time since I've been there in person so it's fun to see these views here. The weather looks wonderful there. I've shared Watery Outdoor views at Happily Retired Gal and Sacred Ruminations this week ... just because ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Linnea

Beautiful scenes...and so much bright sunshine. I always equate the Oregon coastline with fog!

Oh, Sallie, these are absolutely GORGEOUS! Love the ocean! Look at all that driftwood! I remember asking my husband if we could take home a big piece. "C'mon hon, can't we tie it to the roof of the RV?" LOL! I love the photo of the steps leading to the beach. WOW! It looked like a beautiful day to be at the beach. Heck! Any day is a GREAT day to be at the beach!

Arija

I am glad that they are accessible to the public at large. When we lived in Canada we were surprised at how much shoreline was privately owned.

J Bar

Great shots.

Eileen

Oregon has some lovely coast and your photos show the coast off beautifully.
I have to see it for myself someday.

Joe Todd

Love the ocean sound of the waves. Nothing better than the sounds of nature

Oregon looks beautiful and you know what I knew in my head there was a beach, but I never thought as Oregon - a place with beautiful beaches. Thanks for showing it's beauty.

Thank you Story Teller. Thank you for visiting and for your blogs, I am enjoying them.

Krystal -- you can go to Wikipedia and type in Oregon Beach Law for a scholarly" explanation of the Beach law or here is a link to a current article from an Eastern Oregon paper that provides the information. http://www.bakercityherald.com/Columns/Oswald-West-made-sure-Oregons-beaches-belong-to-us-all

Since we've been traveling more, we really know now how lucky Oregon is to have this law!

What gorgeous photos of these Oregon beaches ;--)
Thanks for visiting my mosaics of my sister's Alaskan bear photos at Small Reflections. I shared more of her scenic photos at Sacred Ruminations today.
Hugs and blessings,

Krystal

Beautiful. I didn't know that about the public beaches there (they are public by law). Very interesting.
