This is the view that greeted us when we opened our curtains one morning last week. Our view on the (no)Lake here changes every day this time of year, so we never know exactly what we'll see. This view was the biggest surprise we've had yet!
We don't often see these Central Oregon peaks from here, even in the middle of the summer. Although it wasn't as blue as it has been on a few other days lately, the spectacular view made it a perfect morning for sky watching. The Three Sisters peaks are near the town of Sisters, Oregon (on the way to Bend, the largest City in central Oregon). It is about 60 miles east, as the crow flies, from where we are.

Beautiful view ... I've been there ;-)

I remember seeing the three sisters when I was in Bend. I love that whole area. It's so pretty and not very built up (at least when I was there quite a few years ago). Nice view you've got there. Thanks for stopping by at my SWF post.

The view definitely does help!

You got quite a treat out your window. Does this make it worth being stuck in Oregon all winter? That sight is so beautiful.

Wow! If I thought there was a chance of seeing a view like this out my window, I'd be running to the window every morning. It sure beats pulling up the blinds and seeing the neighbor's house. Not that our neighbors don't have a perfectly wonderful house:)

It looks like the three Sisters are cloaked in their wedding veils. Great pictures.

Those are beautiful shots of a lovely part of the country. Oregon has a lot of beauty. My son lived there for awhile, but I did not like it as it rained too much.

Cool. We have a rock formation called the three sisters just outside Sydney too, at Katoomba.
