It's hard to leave love ones and/or places we love - then after awhile we get better and life goes on as hard as it is.

I do feel similar when leaving a place - I almost always feel better once I'm on my way though!

Isn't it amazing how you can just stay in a campground for a week and meet other campers and then be sad when you leave. I was an army brat so I should be good at it but I'm not. Glad you are having a good time traveling.

I have the same experience. When we leave family members (especially the granddaughters) I don't really see the scenery for an hour or so because I'm so sad. I do love being on the road though. It's hard to have both worlds.
