The colors on this boom look almost unreal...

Wonderfully delicate. super shot.

Now you've disproved that flower's name, haven't you? I also like the delicate shadows on the petals.

Margot

I've never seen anything like this and probably won't. It's nice to know people who have good camera skills and a willingness to get up early. So beautiful.

That's an amazing flower and the photographer did an equally amazing job. I can just see you creeping around the neighbor's yard in the early morning wearing your pjs with camera in hand.

Great shot..It's awesome!

Very sweet shadows. Gosh you must really have to get up early to appreciate it in full bloom. It's a lovely looking plant :)

Gemma@Greyscale

A wonderful photo! I did not know such a plant existed! So this was a great surprise! Love the fine shadows on the petals!

This is a beautiful capture Sallie!
It's a shame it only blooms at night. Such beauty hidden in the dark. Love the delicate shadows within the shadowy part of the image.
Well done Ms. Sallie! :)

Emma

Wow, beautiful - I love the shot of pink in the centre of the white.

Catherine

Cassie

Catus are just so unusual and quite amazing too. Good ShadowShot. Have a great day.

Dianne

What an exquisite flower, a marvelous capture and a terrific shadow shot for the day! Doesn't get any better! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

It is lovely, too bad it hides itself from view during the day. With its white color it is probably only interested in night flying moths to polinate it, not humans to view it.
