FOR SHADOW-SHOT SUNDAY over at Hey Harriet's AND RUBY TUESDAY by Mary The Teach at Work of the Poet.
In any case, the shadow shows its alligator shape better than the actual object does. There are always lot of shadows and reflections at the Slough. This metal alligator stands near the Six-Mile Cypress Slough Visitor Center. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be a bicycle rack or a clmbing toy for kids.
Love the shadow of that alligator- or is it a dinosaur?

Love the alligator--we have one in that style of a yellow lion at an Art Center in town. I actually took a picture of it this summer. Mickie

I LOVE this!
The shadow is so super. Makes him look like he's smiling.

Now that is one cool shadow shot! I like the idea of it being used as a bike rack. Once filled with pushies it would be one tubby gator. And a tubby shadow!
Have a great week :)

Is a sculpture of an alligator one of those "only in Florida" kind of thing? Can't say I've ever seen one myself. I like the shadow of it.

What a Great Shadow Shot!! The alligator's shadow does indeed show it's shape more than the actual object does, which makes the shadow even better. Thanks for sharing!!!

Oh, yes! The cunning grin of the alligator is clearly visible in the shadow!
A SEEKER OF SHADOWS
A seeker of shadows one day
Asked shadows to come out and play:
“O shadows, my dears,
Despite all my fears,
I hope you will not run away.”
