Magical Mystical Teacher

Really? It's name is Flamboyant? Then I'd say it lives up to its name!

GOING FOR THE RED

“If forced to make choices,” she said,
“I’d go for the crimson and red.
I’d let go of green,
(Some think it’s obscene),
Embracing magenta instead.”

Striking color!
Love that first image - the flower looks huge!
Not sure I'd want to run across one of those big ole' grasshoppers.

I wasn't blogging Sallie because we went to visit all three grandbabies for Easter. I'm back home now and resting!! :)
Thanks for the kind note.

You entire post is very pretty. I love the first flower. I am not familiar with it. It just has to be lovely in your area.

 Annie

It's a dream land, isn't it ? I like pink for flowers . Thanks Sallie !

Gemma @ Greyscale

Great photos of those flowers! And I am shocked by the size of that grasshopper!

lina@women's perspectives

It's my first time to see this kind of grasshopper. Lovely flowers and leaves!

Lady Fi

That is a big grasshopper! And what gorgeous flowers... spring is indeed a lively time!

Janis

Those are gorgeous flowers. I am familiar with those grasshoppers...they can be very destructive.

Sally in WA

I like the pink colors though. I can't wait for things to start warming up here!

Martha

I like the hibiscus, they grow well in Southern California, too.

Dimple

Yes, flamboyant is a good word. The pink leaves are beautiful, even with a grasshopper, and the flower is beyond words, it is so lovely.
