What a fun shot - I love turtles. The B&W works well here.

Linda and I just got back from our latest adventure.. Hilton Head Island. Had almost a whole week of sun Yea... Have a great week

JM

This is so cool! It seems to have been done on purpose to provide the turtles a place to get warm under the sun. :-)

Mike B.

My goodness- those turtles look huge!

 Annie

All three are so funny and so big !
In France, a few years ago you can buy such turtles but babies. The problem : people didn't know that they were babies. When they grew up many of them had been thrown in rivers and lakes... They eat a lot of fishes and now nobody knows what to do with them !

Frank

An excellent capture in B&W Sallie.

Sondra

Great shot...they are enjoying a nice float around

Esther Montgomery

Another sight I have never seen.

Great capture of a turtle convention, Sallie! I like it in B & W.

Kay Davies

Sallie — I just love photos of turtles. They always make me smile, and this is a wonderful shot. Thanks!
Speaking of smiling, I'm afraid I got you confused before you had enough coffee. Thank you for commenting on my Weekends Reflections, but what I did was perhaps an unforgivable pun. It says the pink-footed geese are "Rearly reflected" because the photo is of them walking away, and shows their rears.

Did you take this picture, Sallie? It is amazing. Black and white gives something special to a photograph, I think.

LaVoice

What a great and clever idea for your post. It was a perfect place for the turtles to jump, but not me.

Birgitta - foto CHIP

Good for the turtles to have a place of their own :)
