for SKYWATCH FRIDAY. Click the links! Looking at the sky is good for the soul!
After gray skies from the time we left Florida all the way through Kansas, we were happy to get to Boulder County Colorado where the sky is amost always blue. And it stayed blue as we traveled from there through more of beautiful Colorado and on into Utah and Nevada.
We will be happy if our luck holds and we have blue sky all summer!
Oh, yes, skies are good for the soul, especially these beautiful blue ones. I've always loved those "down the road" shots - they give a feeling of adventure, potential, good things ahead ...

Beautiful shots and skies. That's one of my favorite things about Colorado, the blue skies day after day.

Oh, what would blue skies be without a little black with flashes of lightning for contrast? :-)
MOST WONDERFUL
The sky’s a most wonderful thing,
Enjoyed by both peasant and king;
No matter the eye
That sees the bright sky
The proper response is to sing!

Sallie, I know you "waved" as you passed through Kansas. Glad you got to Colorado safely. Bet you won't want to go home for a while--it is so beautiful (and cool) there. Enjoy yourself. Stunning pictures, but it is pretty easy to find a beautiful scene there. Mickie :)

They are all great:) The bottom one with the bend in the road, leads you into the photo and that's good, I love the mountains with the snow on them.

I love the big, blue wide open skies of the west, great shots.
You asked about our location in SE WA, we are in Walla Walla. We've been here for about ten years, my husband was transferred here from the Portland/Vancouver area.

Sallie, beautiful photos of the blue sky. I love the snowcapped mountains. They remind me of the Tetons. I hope you have a great summer with lots of blue skies.
