For WORLD BIRD WEDNESDAY -- here are some every day birds we see now that we're back on the west coast after our roadtrip.
This was the view right outside our window on our first morning at the Lake. We are watching the babies grow.
In the collage below are some of the other birds we often see here at Fern Ridge Shores.
Grebes swim past our window almost every day and can be sighted all over the Lake.
The goldfinches were visiting our neighbor's feeder.
I am guessing that the top right is a young coot, since it seems to always hang out with the adult coots (old coots?) in a shallow part of the Lake.
Wonderful pics, the birds are so pretty.

You have an ideal spot right next to the water. How enjoyable that must be to see so much variety every day.
