Sallie, I have also been doing the "Catch-up" thing today. Have gone all the way back to when you left Florida to make sure I did not miss anything. I have chosen this post to leave my comment for two reasons. One, I love butterflies and know how hard it is to get a good shot of them. Two, it is such a gorgeous photo that I could stare at it for hours.

While moving through your post I found myself wishing I could be a stowaway on your travels. I love how you see things and the way you describe them for us. Even when it is a place I passed through you found a way to bring the memory back in way I failed to take in.

Keep up the good work because a lot of us live our life vicariously through blogs like yours; even if we do not always post a comment.

Blue on blue, perfect!

Sallie, Sallie---What a great shot! It is a stunning picture ( and the colors do "blend" right together, don't they). The photo is perfect too--clear,sharp, excellent color--just great. Hope you are enjoying your time in Colorado--the temp there has to be a lot better than the 100 degree weather we are having in Kansas. Take care. Mickie :)

Barb

Hi Sallie, We are back from our trip with the greandkids. I came here to check on what you've been doing. Looks like you are still traveling through some beautiful country. This picture with the butterfly is amazing. (That's my favorite word when I come to your blog.)

That is exceptional - what an amazing shot. Butterflies are hard to get at all!

Oh wow - what a great photo! I thought exactly the same as you on first look, that the butterfly was part of the flower.

Gorgeous shot (gorgeous butterfly, too!) He really blends in well that flower. And I love the soft hairy edges of his wings.

How did you convince the butterfly to stay still long enough to snap its photo? :-)
