FOR WATERY WEDNESDAY. Get your eyes wet. Click on the links or add your own.
These pictures are from our walk at Sweet Creek -- when I could tear my camera away from the kids (previous post).
I can't resist two more of the family -- Our grandson Jacob had a day off and here he is with each of his nephews:
The trail goes along a series of waterfalls. Jacob was the only one to make it to the top. On this day, with these first-time hikers, seeing the lower ones (about three-quarters of the way up the trail) was quite enough adventure for the rest of us. While he ran the rest of the way up and back, the rest of us watched the boys wading in the lower pond.
The water-fall looks so fresh and Jacob so kind with his nephews !

How great that your grandson could be so generous to his nephews (and you) and share his love of hiking. Sweet Creek sure looks beautiful. I love the sound of water running in a creek. So soothing.

How wonderful to be able to introduce a new generation to hiking. I sometimes worried that we dragged our kids out on too many hike when they were little but they still like to hike. Unfortunately, grandson Michael has a hard enough time walking, I'm afraid hiking just isn't in his future.
We have been away from internet access for a week but I found this update on the whales tonight.

I love the first shot for the beauty of the falls, and the others because I get to share in your family doings. How fun to take the young ones hiking there!
