For SKYWATCH FRIDAY...This view of the sky over the bike park at the Country Fair. There really weren't very many bright blue days in this part of Oregon last month, so the Fair was fortunate to have such a lovely weekend.

Wow,so many pedal pushers! If we were all to bike to work, I could imagine how clean the air would be.
Looks like a great weather for the fair.

The marker for the bikes is beautiful, and I expect it is easily seen from many places on the fairgrounds. I like to find utility and beauty in the same object as you have done here.

Beautiful against the sky!
You would be sure to see that from a distance and know that's where you parked your bike but I'm wondering how difficult it would be to actual find it among all those that are parked. :)

That's such a fun, colorful, whimsical sculpture-thingy, and I'm loving all those bicycles that surround it, like it's their Mother Ship. :-)

Hi there - what a great thing! Good to look at and it does what it should do as well - ie store bikes!
Thanks for the comment about my blog - I do spend a bit of time on it! Feel free to advertise it in any way you feel fit!
Another post on Magnetic Island is well underway - you may like "I was only 24 hours in Brisbane" and "Go West", which are both travel focussed and some people say that they are funny as well!

That's quite a center piece! It seems like the bikes are drawn to it too!

That's a lot of bikes and an unusual structure. I love that you got to capture it on a clear day, it's a great shot.

The last time I saw that many bikes together was several years ago in Amsterdam!
SKY OF WONDER
Sky of wonder, sky of bliss,
Who would think a sky like this
Would permit my eyes to see
Sun and moon and stars for free?
