FOR LESLEY'S SIGNS SIGNS -- this photo taken in a kitchen shop in Florence Oregon
Just think, for all these years and all these hundreds of bananas, I've been using a plain old paring knife for this job. Or even a table knife if it was easier to get to.
Thank heavens somebody invented this wonderful tool to save me from all that hard hard labor! Yeah, right.
Is this something your kitchen needs?
Practical and so simple.. why didn't I think of that?
Hugs,
Pam

You buy it and then have to find it in the kitchen drawer! Good one.

I love to buy kitchen gadgets but even I'm not that gullible. I wonder how many they sold.

I'm allergic to kitchens and gadgets... LOL! Once many many years ago I bought this six-in-one slicing-dicing-whatever gadget. From one of those guys who can talk a mile a minute at a market or fair. It sat in my kitchen taking up space for decades. Unused. This last move I finally chucked it.

Wow, a uniformity in size for my bananas mixed with my pancakes. What a clever invention!

You bet I do. I didn't even know it was possible to slice bananas, because my kitchen is so poorly supplied with gadgets.
Great shot. Those kitchen shops are full of things we've never imagined needing.

Ha! I need this as much as I need a special gadget to scoop the seeds out of a cucumber.

Incredible gadget and yes! Just like a small afro comb!

If only there was one to cut bananas lengthwise I could make banana splits.
Posted by: Andy | August 25, 2011 at 02:39 AM
