This post is linked to SKYWATCH FRIDAY
A little bit of late summer sky. In an odd twist for skywatching, on this particular September day the view was better looking down than looking up.

Hi Sallie,
There is something about a reflected sky which emphasizes the clouds. I don't know what it is, but it can be seen here. Lovely view!

That is a great skywatch photo. I love lakes like that, since they're so few and far between where I live.

You're right, if you're standing there on the ground, the reflection brings the sky right down and spreads it before your feet.

BLESSED BE THE SKY
Cloudy, clear,
Bright or drear—
Blessed be the sky!
Sun and star,
Near or far—
Blessed be the sky!
Rain or snow,
Sunset glow—
Blessed be the sky!
Wind or calm,
Healing balm—
Blessed be the sky!
