For RUBY TUESDAY
Until this week, there hasn't been a lot of red in this area. I looked for something to post for Ruby Tuesday a week ago and the reddest thing I could find was these bright crabapples growing wild in Orchard Park.
It hasn't been very cold yet (which is good for RVers) but that means that there hasn't been a lot of fall color yet. A few trees around town have turned red and Saturday I finally got a real Autumn red picture.
I'm glad we got to see some red trees before we leave.
Fabulously vibrant and red!

Crab apples make superb jelly!
YEA FOR SCARLET
Yea for scarlet, yea for red!
Yea for summertime that’s fled
To some far-off frigid place,
Where no ruby shows its face!

You got to get your fix of autumn before you head south. Not much in the way of seasons in Florida.

Gorgeous red! Our trees are not doing too well in these parts. I think all the rain did some harm. Usually this time of year the colors on the trees are awesome. I have to say I am soooo disappointed.

I love your title post! And finally, the hunt is over!
Had I waited for two more weeks, I would have seen the peaking colors some 300 miles away. We decided not to go back, quite a ways.
Those red are a really treat to my eyes.
