IN OUR WORLD, it's not always balloons and rainbows without rain. Nope, sometimes.... a roadtrip is just a roadtrip.
Sometimes there are dangerous curves to negotiate.
Sometimes you hit a temporary roadblock.
Sometimes you feel like you're going along between a rock and a hard place.
Sometimes the road seems endless.
But the company is good. We think about where we've been and we know the road is leading us to where we want to be.
Yes, sometimes a roadtrip is just....
a lot like life.
I love this comparison between life and a road trip. All those pictures of roads is making my feet itchy. I want to go. Glad your trip has been going well.

Just what I was thinking, Sallie; a roadtrip is like life. I am so glad you share your adventures through your photos. I feel like I'm on the road with you.
I loved seeing more of those balloons. Imagine what the birds thought.

Hi there - a road ahead is never just a road ahead (Did Freud say this or am I making it up!)

Oh yes, a road trip worthy of the name involves dealing with obstacles and such.

Well, you KNOW I feel this way...! Now we have the westerns and eastern versions of life's philosophy on the road! Glad you're enjoying yours, Sallie! :-)

Yes, sometimes the road goes on forever. If it is scenic, well, that's ok. Southern Arizona, New Mexico and Texas I've never found those to be very enjoyable.

I like your post, Sallie particularly today, a roadtrip day for me too ! We start in the fog and stayed in it during most of the time. But near home we found sun and peace.
