Martha

I had to check to see where "Nice" is, I thought I had never heard of it. Now I realize I've driven through it several times. You are more observant than I.

Francisca

This is the kind of nice town William Least Heat-Moon would have picked to travel to... :-)

Louis la Vache

hee hee...
This reminds «Louis» of "church lady" types in his Texas childhood saying "Well! Isn't that nice?", the nice drawn out in a drawl, dripping with sarcasm. When you heard that, you KNEW they thought it was anything BUT NICE!

Margot

I'm trying to think of another word to describe this post, but nice is really the only appropriate thing to say. Well, I can also say it was fun. Hope your travels are going well.

Andy

That's a nice sign.

Carletta

Nice post Sallie! I couldn't resist. :)

Barb

Oh, Sallie - "smile..."

Hazel

I could not find much! I read:
http://www.city-data.com/city/Nice-California.html

Carver

Ha, I've noticed that some of the more pleasant town names belong to little more than wider spaces in the road.

TexWisGirl

LOL! thanks for the giggles!

Penny

Whatever else you can say, I can say the pictures are nice.

Annie-France

I'm very happy ! If you are in Nice, perhaps are you in France on the French Riviera ?

donna

Nice post, Sallie! Being nice is underated these days. Did I ever tell you that you're nice? You are.

donna

LindyLouMac in Italy

how nice to be in Nice! Thankyou so much Sallie for taking the time to comment and show your appreciation of my Milling from Olive to Oil post.

diane

Thats funny. Of course in France they pronounce it differently. We have those sort of conversations too.

Lady Fi

What a great name!

Pat

I love fun town names and I, too, take photos of them when we travel. This was a good catch!

Halcyon

Maybe it's pronounced the French way? ;)

RedPat

A nice place to visit but .......!

SandyCarlson

That was fun!

Al

It sounds like a nice little town :)

Lindy MacDuff

What a fun and clever entry this is! I would hope the B&B is nice. ;-)

Thanks for the visit and comment on my Flagstaff sign. It's pretty cold here (in Indiana) for ice cream, too.
