This collage of local waters is linked to NATURE FOOTSTEPS: WATER and MOSAIC MONDAY. Thank you to the hosts of both these memes.
We love living and traveling near the water, as everybody probably already knows since so many of our posts are about it!
Most of last week's posts featured the Estero River. Here are six more of our favorite watery places, also located very short distances away from our "cottage" on the canal.
It's no wonder we are happy to be here!
Top row: Upriver Canal (the one we live on); Charlotte Harbor from Matlachea; Orange River
Bottom row: San Carlo Bay (walking across Ft. Myers Beach bridge); Caloosahatchie River; Orange River (manatee viewing area).
I love places with water around. VERY nice shots also!

That's a great water collage. And yes, I often wish I could go back to the places I saw as a child, both to revisit them as an adult and to take better photos of them. But I live on a different continent now so it's not going to happen.

You are certainly in a beautiful spot with plenty to enjoy! Thank you for brightening up an icy spell for me!!! My car stands outside and it was hard to clear the ice until 10am this morning....

Sallie, beautiful watery scenes. You do have lovely views of the water in Florida! Seeing the manatees would be very cool too.
