Virtual beachcombing, because it's just been that kind of week. These are treasures found and left on beaches from coast to coast. FOR MOSAIC MONDAY from the FullTime-Life archives.
We collect birds and shells and shadows and skies.... And some sea monsters too:
But we never bring anything back from the beach except pictures and memories.
(Well, maybe a little sand in our shoes.)
I am happy all went well with your second eye surgery, Sallie. You look fit-as-a-fiddle girl!
Beautiful finds, Sallie. The gulf coast has the best shelling. Not as good here on the east coast.
When I was 9 we lived in Pass-a-grille a block from the gulf and I loved it there.
Hugs,
Pam

I'm with you on this! These are great shots.
I am not a collector of anything but photos and a few shells for students in Connecticut so they can get their hands on the wonders of the ocean. Still, it's wrong to take things from the beach, I think. And unnecessary.
Your photos are beautiful.

Perfect place for a nature walk Sallie...

I'm ready to poke around in some tide pools.

Your beach mosaics are great. The shot of the jelly fish made me start memory scratching. Such lovely sights and even jelly fish can be beautiful if I don't make contact with them.

I like your mosaics, and all these water photos ! When I was a child I liked to pick up old shells on the beach...

Love doing the same on areas between the tides. Such interesting finds. Always!

Thank you for this trip to the beach. Although I grew up just a block away from the Pacific Ocean, I live in the desert now, very far from any "big" water. I love all your water photos.

Nice beach collection. Sometimes I just have to take home a shell or two.

You are good environmentalists. Take nothing except photos.
