Visit SIGNS SIGNS, click the links and smile! Thanks to Lesley for giving us this chance to share the "written word."
Just a little sign seen on the clerk's desk at the collision center where we had our RoadTrek repaired a couple of months ago. Either a sign of a big ego or a sign of esteem by somebody's co-workers.
(And of course, when I worked in an office a zillion years ago, my desk just had my name on it, not a description of how well I did the job.)
this could backfire on him!

Sallie...The moral of this story is to type at night only with your glasses ON and proofread what you have written.I promise you I was NOT tipsy :-) I hope no one read my comment ‘cause it is a mess. I am NOT a genius. The one that a child gave me years ago just says Mrs. R. and it is the one I love. I cannot do anything close up without the glasses...why would I think I could type without them?!?!!??? Thanks for your sweet comments. genie

Sallie, at least you got a name tag. All, I ever got was a in box.

I like the genius sign. I hope it was put there by the owner in appreciation of this employee's contribution.

I like it....I am so bad. I have one that says...”The Queen Sits Here!” My really one that a student gave me years and years ago just says Mrs. R. It is my favorite. I am definitely a genius. genie

What! Repairs to the Roadtrek? Actually, we find it often needs repair. Heat, cold and rough roads take their toll on RVs. We try to treat it gently but it's a rough world.

Too funny. The only signage on my desk on the rare occasions I have to got to the office (usually I work from my home computer) is on my favorite coffee mug. It says STRESS and under that in small letters it ways "The confusion created when one's mind overrides the body's basic desire to choke the hell out of someone who desperately deserves it". The reason the genius sign made me think of my coffee mug sign is I have a feeling someone with "genius" on their desk would cause aforementioned stress to their co-workers. Then again maybe some kind of in joke is why they have that sign.

I didn't have a sign or a name on my desk, but for some reason everyone sure knew my phone number! HA

I have a little sign on the side of my desk which reads "an untidy desk is a sign of genius" - my wife gave me it years ago!
Posted by: gerald | April 18, 2012 at 03:11 PM
So that's who stole my sign.
Posted by: Andy | April 18, 2012 at 03:07 PM
Another good one Sallie!

Sallie
I think that is very good. If nobody else appreciates his ability, he may as well crow about it himself.
I might see if I can find one of those signs and put it on my desk, an ego boost for myself to smile at!!! ha ha.
Cheers

Weather report: Beautiful sunny day ( so far).
Sydney is in a flooded mess! 72 hours of torrential rain!

Never had a sign like that on my desk, just my name on the door. Great find.
