FOR SKYWATCH FRIDAY and STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA SUNDAY. Thank you to the hosts.
We were only out on the Lake for a couple of hours, but it was at just the right time to see pretty much every color of blue the sky could possibly be.
It's just like taking drive-by shots from the car -- I'm always glad I'm not driving.
These two pictures were while we were eating supper -- for a few minutes, it really looked like it was going to storm -- and we were hoping not because we really don't have a boat for that kind of weather.
It was a false alarm though --- the sun came back out from behind the clouds for the end of the day. And whether we looked up at the sky or down at its reflection, we enjoyed it all the way home.
it's always fun to look down to see the sky - thanks for sharing this very nice posting

Very nice shots! I always am glad I don't do most of the driving, or piloting our boat, because I always have my camera at the ready!

Great photos. Love the clouds and the reflections in the water. Glad that it didn't storm while you were on the lake. I don't like being on the water when it is storming.

Wonderful sky shots. We have been invited to go out on the river again with my brother. I can't wait for it to get a bit cooler so we can take advantage of his invitation. So many great things to see and experience when we are out on his boat.

It may have been a false alarm - but it produced a nice picture. I think clouds are such wonderful things - they mean that there is always something to look at!

The Black Canyon of the Gunnison is the water way by which we get our drinking and irrigation water. Glad you got to see it. Also, Blue Mesa is the reservoir that you traveled around that holds our drinking water and irrigation water.
