What a beautiful sunrise, worth getting up to see. I enjoyed my visit to your part of the country last week, especially considering it was -4 at my house the morning before we left, and -2 with a blizzard warning the morning after we got back!

Nice sky pictures - with clouds!
But we want less clouds and more sun right now!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I never tire of looking at the sky. Here in Michigan, in the winter, the sky is mostly covered in grey clouds, but the sky is all the more beautiful when the overcast clouds give way to open skies.

Nice shots!
The end of the world thing seems to have been a bit less dramatic than I expected!
Thanks for the comments throughout the year!
Have a great Christmas

Hi Sallie.
Attractive photos indeed.
I am pleased to report that the 21st has arrived in Australia. Not even thunder and lightning at midnight, no rain either! I guess those Mayans got their dates muddled up.
"December 21st 2012 – a date that is well known globally. Several hundred years ago, the Ancient Mayans predicted the apocalypse on this very date."
No Apocalypse here, and no bloody rain either, still the swelter box!
Maybe the "mayans" will grace us with some rain today?? ha ha!
So tomorrow you can post more photos from Florida to show us that you are still in the land of the living also??
Cheers
Colin (Brisbane.Australia)
