Shooting into the sun on a lovely February evening at Knight's Key.
Not much more than half an hour elapsed from the first picture to the last. But what a beautiful few minutes it was.
I'm linking to SKYWATCH FRIDAY because the Florida Keys are such a perfect place to watch the sky.
And there's certainly no better place for scenery junkies to hang out. So this post is linked to Gemma's SCENIC WEEKENDS.
To see beautiful scenery and beautiful skies from all over the world visit both memes and click on the links. Thanks to Gemma for Scenic Weekends and Yogi and the team for SWF.
Hi there, Sallie!
Sun sets are so adorable and you showed it here!
Lovely pictures! Like the third one most.
Yes, we are a bit tired of Winter, it never seems to end.
Greetings Pia

Great pictures - that would be a splendid time to by out on the water.
The lightning shots were a complete wash out - I'll have to keep trying.

Your photos are so beautiful! Yes, these eyes in the sky are awesome. Great composition with the kayaks.
Sallie, thanks for your comments on my blog. I will answer your questions here, because I don't know if you have subscribed to the comments. I have posted a lot from Yellowstone, you may find it with the tag "National Park". It is a very special place on earth, one of my favorite!
I guess there may be alligators in Louisiana.
The light is directly above my desk and made these colorful reflections.

Sheer perfection from first to last. The shots with the boaters and the one of bird flying are simply spectacular. I've never been to the Keys but I think this must go on my travel wish list. Excellent series!
