While it looks every bit as exotic as the night blooming cactus posted last week, the Pineland Passion Flower is actually a native of Florida (and it blooms all day, every day during its season).
It's listed as an endangered native Florida plant species.
There are five native species of passionflowers in Florida.
Passionflower vines serve as the larval host plant for heliconian butterflies. The space above is blank because I had hoped to get a picture of a butterfly on the plant, but no luck so far!

Wonderful and very well photographed by you!
Maybe you get surprised if I say I am familiar with this flower? Yes, we can buy it in flower shops and also in grocery stores that have flowers, and have in our homes in pots. Some maybe also take them outside in Summertime. I have had some but it's years ago now. Maybe it is not excactly the same sort we have here that grow outside in Florida, but I recognize it very well. :)
Have a nice week! Greetings Pia

I think Passion flowers are one of Florida's prettiest native wildflowers- its lavender hues make my heart smile.

Goodness, what a strange looking flower. Certainly none like that here. Stewart is correct with previous top flower as being native to Australia, they are plentiful in gardens around here and the lorikeets and parrots LOVE them! Well, the nectar anyhow, not sure if the beauty comes into the equation!!
The shrub as shown can be found extensively in Thailand, Bali, the Philippines and PNG etc. Very, very tropical.
Another fine, sunny Sunday morning - cloudless and thankfully not so much "bite" in the air.
Cheers
