We missed many of the Northwest's best flowers because we didn't get here until July. But the lush hydrangeas are here to welcome us back!
Pearls on pink velvet
Blue with shooting stars
Pink and blue in combinations
And all of these beautiful colors are blooming under the same tree.
FLORAL FRIDAY FOTOS with blooms from all over the world is hosted by Nick and I HEART MACRO is hosted by Laura at her blog. Thanks Laura for giving us a place to share our up-close views of the world.

Beautiful! I especially love the ones with the mixed colors. Where I grew up, it seemed that they were in every yard.

These flowers could not choose what to be in the beginning, but they choose to be beautiful after that.

To your comment on my post : I wanted a Kindle reader only just to take along on trips to avoid carrying real books. My son bought me this tablet, which I really have no use for because I have a little notebook computer for my travels, lol ! The only thing I wanted was to read ! Now I have to take both things along. Can't write posts on a tablet !

I'm not sure what you missed, but this collection ought to help make up for it. Glorious! And I especially like your treatment in the 2nd shot!

What a spectacle. I've heard that the colors are dependent on soil acidity. Wonder what's going on under that tree!
