This busy mom strolled along just outside a neighbor's wire fence, while most of her large flock of young wild turkeys played and fed on the other side.

Oh my gosh, what sweet captures! We have them here, too, but they stay pretty well hidden. I'm always surprised when I see one in an open field.

Hi, Sallie! Great shots of the Turkeys! It's been fun seeing so many healthy turkey flocks in central Florida this year.
Thank you for sharing yours!

Lovely photo's Sally and look at that great mother. she takes good care of the kids

Very nice photos Sallie! It seems that turkeys are everywhere I go lately. Although domestic turkeys can't fly, these wild ones are excellent and fast flyers. I have no idea why they don't fly more...

Hi, orchid again;
Haha, I found my big typo in my comment up there (I've done it again). I meant "Wonderful mother and intuitively knew the danger!!!" I'm using the soft which it can give me selection of the words, I hit the diffrent choice of the word. I'll be more careful.
I came here to see if you wrote another post or not and found it. I hope you are have a wonderful week, my dear friend♡♡♡
Love and hugs, xoxo Miyako*

A good mother indeed! I also like your photos of Idaho, I've driven through the state once but didn't spend much time there.

Our daughter has three turkey's. They are as tame as dogs and just as much fun to take care of!

Dearest Sallie,
Oh, how LOVELY♡♡♡ Wonderful mother and intuitively kew the dancer!!!
I've never seen turkey before p;) When I first knew about them when little, I thought they look SO different from chicken and wondered about the tastes, haha.

HOW cute I love them.

They look rather tame to me. What's with the "wild" stuff. But that's the trouble with turkeys. And then try to catch 'em on Thanksgiving! Sheesh! :)

Wow! She really is a great mother! Nice shots.

"But Mum, the grass looks greener on this side!"
Nice pictures.
The "common" names of birds can be a bit of a mystery at time - especially some of the old ones.
Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW
