I adore going on hikes in beautiful places. This looks like a fabulous place to go walking.

I would not hurry either, Sallie, though I doubt I would get such glorious photos as you have.

Dearest Sallie;
Wonderful macro pictures with your artistic eyes♡♡♡

I will try take a walk when spring comes. Even if in the poor nature in my neighborhood, I might find little blessed nature(^^;)

I like your walk on the wild side. Too bad about the eagle. Dianne

Oh it is so awesome to look underneath the layer of nature - to see the seeds and bark so close up to find their beauty. Thanks for sharing

Gorgeous MACROS, Sallie! Love the intricacies of the dandelion and the floating bark, as well as the composition of the ferns! How lucky you are to have this oasis at your feet!

Excellent macros Sallie. I love the dandelion and tree bark. You are lucky to have such a lovely place so near by.

So nice to have such a wonderful place to walk and take photos so close to home!

You are very fortunate. As are we. We have part of the Cross Florida Trail that goes through Ocala...it's a 6-mile loop that goes from flat land to hill, and features several different kinds of vegetation. It's on the other side of town now so we don't there very often but we used to run, ride or skate there at least once a week.

The photos you've presented are simply beautiful. Very professional and easy on the eyes and show off Florida flora well!

really lovely, sallie! the 2nd, 3rd and 4th are awesome macros! and ferns...be still my heart!

How wonderful to have this nature preserve so close to you. Love your photos! Gregg has two apps I found out, Trip Adviser which has historical road markers (he says this is the one he prefers) and also Four-Square.

How lovely to see the green. I can almost feel the warmer air. :)

What a beautiful place to have literally next to your home. And I love the shore photos in your previous post. Thanks for the meme suggestion.
