Happy Easter Week! So lovely Spring flowers and in previous post I saw a gorgeous indian blue peacock!! All the best!

Penny

Such a breath of spring beauty, these are. I wonder if the bark helps give this its name, or its bark. Whatever the origin, it is certainly a beauty and a slow grower, it seems, so, strong.

Laura Hegfield

Oh how beautiful!

Jenn Jilks

They are glorious! HOORAY SPRING!!!!

I'm with the others who think it must be named for the color of the bark. It is beautiful.

so many beautiful blooms on the silver trumpet tree. and welcome color indeed. we had a long winter this year. could the tree be called silver for its leaves undercoating like the silver maple? very nice photos. hope all is well. have a great day~

I was quite worried that your SkyWatch post was impossible to open but it was OK now when I checked on it. So nice to see you still enjoying the warm southern climate.

Whoa, Sallie, these are beautiful!!! I can't imagine why they're called silver trumpets--why not golden trumpets? Anyway, yellow flowers always make me happy and against a blue sky like that, it's just awesome!
