Wonderful trip, wonderful photos:) Greetings

Pat

Very nice! Alaska is truly amazing and still a frontier. I don't know if I'll ever make it back there, so I am really enjoying your trip and photos.

Ramblingwoods

I didn't know about servicemen being posted up there....

Dianne

You picked a great cruise.

Linda

The scenery is outstanding...make one feel tiny!

Magnificent photos, Sallie - and I feel as if I'm on an armchair cruise.
One of my uncles was stationed in Alaska during the war. All he said was that it was isolated. I wonder now where, exactly, he was.

Yogi

Love the pics. The little island where people were stationed... Wow, that would certainly be isolating!

Lowell

You're just having way too much fun! Wow, so many beautiful sights to see. I see no reason why you can't take another cruise! I would not have wanted to be stationed on that wee island for any length of time. I'll bet there's not one restaurant close by! :)

Eileen

Hello Sallie, stopping back to say thank you for linking up to my critter party. Enjoy your weekend!

Aimee

I would LOVE this place with the mountains and wildlife!
Blessings,
Aimee

Such wonderful scenery. I would so love to take a boat trip and watch scenery pass by like this. And yes. My camera would be at the ready.

Thank you for showing the wonderful photos of a greqat and impressive voyage! This is something I want to do if I have time left and if I am still able to do so.
I agree with you that the killing of whales means the death of humanity. Men kill for the sake of money.
