We are out of Denali and staying in an RV Park in Fairbanks. We enjoyed our stay in the National Park -- lots of wildlife and beautiful views. Unfortunately, not the iconic view of Mt. McKinley that photographers hope for -- it was partly rainy and the top of the mountain was clouded over every day we were there.
But who could be disappointed when you can spot Denali inhabitants like these yearling Grizzly cubs.
I have more pictures of beasts and birds and mountain views -- and I would love to find time to visit all of you -- but there are groceries to buy, showers to take (thank goodness), an RV to wash, and laundry to do. (We were in a campground with no electricity or water while we were in the National Park.)
Linking this post to Saturday Critters as we are back in Fairbanks briefly after a trip up the Dalton Highway and back. More posts later!
Someday I will catch up with everybody. Thank you for visiting in the meantime!
What gorgeous youngsters. You were having quite an adventure I see.

Thanks for sharing the wonders of your world through your blog. Keep going! We all get back to each other when we can. The main thing is to be here, to believe, to connect.

Great photos! Seeing these cubs, makes me wonder if there isn't an angry mama bear in the area. What a fantastic trip you are on.

Beautiful! You were brave to get these photos. Even if the bears are used to people they have their own opinion of how things are to be.
Your trip is really outstanding!

Wow, what a place - this is about 3rd or 4th of my "overseas" places I want to visit.
Bears would make up for almost any weather I think.
Sorry for the much delayed reply - I've been in the UK for a month and I decided to let the blogging take a back seat - normal service will resume very soon!

How neat to see the bears! Your experience with Mt. McMcKinley sounds like our experience (twice) with the Tetons and Mount St. Helens! Just an excuse to go back, though! :D
Have fun!
