Dearest Sallie; Happy New Year and I DO hope you had a wonderful head start of 2015, my friend☆☆☆
Wow; Great photographs of Bald Eagle♡♡♡ I'm really happy to know Bald Eagles were never endangered in Alaska because DDT was never used there, isn't that great and I wonder if I could ever have a chance to see one in my life p:-) And I always LOVE the way how you arrange your photographs♪♪♪

Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*

Michelle

I would sure like to see many of them and test to see if I got tired of these amazing raptors, but I don't get tired of seeing Mother Nature... thank you for all the lovely comments Sallie..hug..Michelle

Fantastic selection of Eagles. Have a wonderful weekend and a HAPPY NEW YEAR,

Andrea @ From the Sol

I live in Norther Illinois and we have had our first eagles nesting here in the last few years. It is wonderful knowing that they are around, but because they have such large territories we only see them on our lake once in awhile. It is always a thrill, so I can imagine how you felt in Alaska. Great pictures, Sallie ...

eagles are powerful birds. I like your images a lot. We have two kinds of eagles but not this one. :)

Happy New Year to you and your family. :)

Thought I better check up on you. We have an Eagle preserve here at the Occoquan Park. My cousins stayed there when they visited with their RV. Beautiful shots of your Eagles.

Someday I hope to go to Alaska. I don't think a Bald Eagle would ever get old for me. It seems like they would be to Arizona like the Red-tailed Hawk. Either way, gorgeous country up there. Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!

Hazel

A privilage to see them! Homer looks lovely enough for a holiday there!

Gunilla

Handsome birds! I wish you a Happy New Year 2015!

great photos of magnificent eagles. When I lived in Malawi, there were African fishing eagles nesting in the tree behind my house. (They look a bit like bald eagles)

I am not sure if I have ever seen a bald eagle in the wild. What a thrill. I don't think I would get tired of them.

Lowell

They are truly magnificent-looking creatures. And very tough, too! Don't mess with an eagle. We have a few here, and I remember seeing some in south Florida but nothing like this. Must have been very exciting for you!

Red Nomad OZ

WOW! What a thrill!! But I'm amazed you got to see them with seagulls etc on the beach!! Your RV park looks excellent - all I have to do is work out how to teletransport our camper over there for a visit :D Happy New Year, and all the best for 2015!

Hello Sallie, great post on the Bald Eagle. They will always be a special bird to me.. It is wonderful that they are doing so well in Alaska..Awesome photos. I wish you and your family all the best in 2015! Happy New Year!

Penny

It is such a majestic experience seeing the bald eagles. It is interesting that they were never endangered in Alaska. I clearly remember their endangerment in the lower 48. Thank goodness they are throng now, breeding and nesting - and showing up in your magnificent photos. Thanks for sharing the Alaskann ones, Sallie.
