Skim vanilla latte here, Sallie. That was the best name for a coffee shop, though I used to frequent a place called the Chocolate Moon that had a life of its own. :)

ellen b

Upper downer all arounder....

Carver

I agree about what's the point without caffeine. I accidentally bought some expensive coffee that was on sale without realizing that it was decaffeinated. It has been in my freezer forever. Sometimes I do use it with regular coffee (1/3 de and 2/3 caf) but usually I need full caf. The wild coffee is an attractive plant.

Dianne

Clever sign. Reminds me of the scene in the Burt Reynolds film, Starting Over, where he has an anxiety attack in a department store, and his brother, a doctor, asks is anyone has a certain drug, and everyone in the crowd of onlookers whips one out.

Ramakant

I would go with the Café Mocha :)
Nice bit of tie-bit to commit to memory. Thanks for sharing.

phil

That's amazing. I thought at first you were having a laugh but clearly not. I do admit to drinking very little coffee but then I am British so mostly stick to tea. (Or wine).

Nonnie

I had no idea of the "proper" name of coffee- so fitting! I can tolerate two cups a day, but fare better with only one. (even though I love it!)

Eileen

I like my coffee with the caffeine...I love the sign, cute find! Have a happy day!

Anni @ I'd Rather B Birdin'

Well, I can't say that my psychosis is caused by wild coffee...[insert wink]

Love the scientific name.

Ratty

That's pretty interesting about the name of the plant. I wonder if the name of Cafe Nervosa has a real link to that name somehow.

Amy

hmm I've never seen that plant before but as for coffee make mine a triple shot mocha with one sugar :-)

Gattina

Hahaha ! the latin word is too funny ! I agree that coffee can make you nervous, but with some Xanax and Wodka it should compensate !

Carletta

As soon as I saw the sign I wondered by nervosa seemed so familiar to me - Frazier - LOVED that show.
There you go finding another wonderful sign!!!

Pat @ Mille Fiori Favoriti

Pretty plant, but I would not be happy without my caffeine jolt every morning, so I' ll stick with the real coffee bean, Sallie--lol! The sign made me smile!

DeniseinVA

You have a good memory about the coffee shop. I enjoyed that show. The sign is a hoot. Makes me want to go brew some coffee.

Jim

I like it

Ramblingwoods

Yes, I will take mine plain...lol

Gaelyn

Funny how the Latin name sounds like it would really be a kick in the pants coffee.
Quadruple almond mocha breve for me. Made at home every morning.

Al

I never knew coffee grew wild like that in Florida. I wonder what it would taste like?

Lesley

Xanax and coffee... good one!

Sondra-SC

I love coffee more now than ever!!

Photo Cache

Too funny!

My SIGNS, SIGNS

NatureFootstep

I did see coffee bushes in Costa Rica. But it was a plantation I think, not wild. When it first came to Sweden it was thought of as a drog.

Hildred Finch

Psychosia Nervosa - what a way to start the morning!!!

Mary Howell Cromer

I enjoy Cafe' Mocha, or a Blond Misto with mocha and peppermint...either or, iced, or hot, love, love~

RedPat

I love that scientific name. I'm not a coffee drinker either!

Tom The Backroads Traveller

Coffee is not one of my many vices. Tom The Backroads Traveller

Lyn

Haha that's a good one...if you're into its wildness :)

Lowell

Yes, not much point in "coffee" without caffeine. That sign is wild. Not sure I'd combine caffeine and xanax, though! I wonder why the plant was named "Wild Coffee" when it's not really coffee at all?

Lindy

Haha! I like that sign you found! I drink mine black with a little sweetener and hubby's more adventurous, adding half and half.

Hadn't thought about Cafe Nervosa in a long time. :)

TexWisGirl

laughing at that last sign, and the scientific name. :)
