What a pretty color blue! The magpies here have blue and white feathers but I never found one.

Gemma Wiseman

Love the focus on the feather in these images. The first image highlighting the selected blue is magical.

beautiful colours + textures!

Just what I need, Sallie! Our Blue jay feathers have gone missing from the altar stump. My Grands have been commissioned to find new ones!

Blue feathers seems to be, for me, a mystery ! this one is a perfect one ! No blue bird here, but for the first time ofthe year our dear red-robin visited us during breakfast

Lovely blue feather, and beautiful photos, Sallie.

And it is fun playing like a kid too.

thanks Sallie for joining my meme.

As a birder your art talks to me in many ways. You made it look like nests for a fancy bird :)

I love the blue feather...especially in the first photo where it stands out.

There are those who would say you have been contacted by the spirit world with that blue feather. But I agree that it is great fun to play with photos and you've done a fine job here! In fact, I'd say you're a fine-feathered friend!

Eileen

Hello Sallie, looks like a Jay's feather. Such a pretty blue! Enjoy your day!

Gattina

My cat Arthur would be delighted to play with a blue feather !

Linda

How beautiful, Sallie! :)

Sondra-SC

Its beautiful...I love to pick up odd feathers here n there I found an American Avocet feather at Salt Lake not something I'd ever find here in SC.

I agree, it is fun finding things and playing with them in nature. Your playing produced really neat photos Sallie. I love that blue feather.

Dearest Sallie; Oh,pictures were really artistically done for one blue feather♡♡♡ Yes, the color differences and the contract of 2 pictures are wonderful and poetic as well(♡˘◡˘♡)

Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*

I thinking that it is an easy one andd hoping I'm right with Blue Jay?

By the way, we ring every bird we catch as each species has a different ring size attributed to it. Some birds share ring sizes e.g small passerines like warblers moving up to larger sizes for gulls, geese and beyond.
