What wonderful photos! of such scenery and life. The depth and intensity of the blues is amazing and I chuckled a bit at the, ahem, humor of the fun side of the wall. :)

I must have missed some of your posts while on break. This is a delightful series of shots and confirms what I've thought about Cabos ... from the photos I've seen elsewhere. I know the resorts are wonderful and the golf is splendiforious and the weather glorious! I do believe there are also some very nice golf courses in that area.

All of that is good and well, but what's the story about the mobsters and the gangsters and the guns and stuff? Any truth in them?

Good to see you are both still well and enjoying life.
I wish you a Merry Christmas, and all the very best for the New Year, Gordon.

Wow! all these shots making me jump on the cruise. I have to read and take notes again. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

Happy holidays to you too Sallie ....see you in the New Year!

Brilliant trees.

I LOVE that place! If we ever leave for a trip I want to go there again!

You experience a beautiful place in every footsteps you make.

Glad you had such a good time-and really made the most of the cruise! I imagine some folk stayed on board all the time, as there was so much to do!

Just caught up on your blog. Cruises are wonderful, we did one through the Mediterian Sea some years ago. Your pictures are lovely ! Yes our hotel looked a bit like your ship. Who are you on the family picture ? The one left or right of the man with the blue pullover ?

I like a lot the blues (?) of your first shot and your last words. Your are the most positive person I know is the world, with my mother !

This was a fun post for me to read. We spent about 10 days in this area and explored all up and down the coast. Beautiful area!!

Never a dull moment when you are on board a huge ship and making so many interesting and fun trips!
Great photos of your adventures!

Jim, Sydney, Australia

Beautiful shots.

This sounds so perfect to me and it looks so warm! lol Also love Margaritas....sigh....maybe this weekend. Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend!

MaryBeth Schwartz

great shots and sounds like lots of fun. Nice to be able to wander without a group and a guide.
BTW: Not only is there a Snohomish and Skykomish there is a Skokomish---Whew---there are so many native american names here

You are kind of making me jealous! Always wanted to go there and wouldn't mind being there right now as I am freezing here in Germany.

Sounds like a nice day, Sallie!

I love that Oregon coast, the sea there is so different than the Atlantic. Beautiful!

wow sally, this is the way to go!! i like those life boats, they look like small ships!! cabo looks beautiful, both of my sons have been, (drinking fun) but me, never!!

you chose a great way to travel, it sounds an easy way to go and lots of fun!!

Oh yea, this looks like a fine trip, especially wandering at your own pace. I prefer the mescal.

It looks like a great place - nice captures!

What a wonderful trip! Your photos are so enticing!

Gorgeous photos of your cruise Sallie. I need to go on one of those!

Just had a catch up Sallie, enjoyed my virtual cruise. Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year. Thanks also for your continuing support of my blogging.

Beautiful images.

NatureFootstep PhotoArt

wow, what a day :) But what was that with people hanging in ropes? Looks dangerous! But I guess it was safe.

I loved seeing your photos, Sallie and you brought back memories. When we cruised on the Ruby Princess last year one of our stops was Cabo San Lucas. It was gorgeous. The bay is called the "aquarium of the Pacific" because of the variety of fish that live there. We also stopped at Puerto Vallarta and took a tour of the Malecon and went to a tequila factory which was fun! We have friends here who have a timeshare in PV and love going there to relax.

mary jo

wish we had been with you...

How lovely to find a shot of palm trees with no buildings or other tourists! Well done! The sign made me giggle ... Your 'off-the-beaten track' restaurant is pretty - we always like to find the local haunts to get a closer-to-real experience. Have a sunny week!

I think you had way too good a time!!

Sallie, I like your style and your travels! Glad you found your land legs! Interesting facts about PV, too.

Sallie, Those are some gorgeous blue skies and water. Thanks for sharing. Sylvia D.

Su-sieee! Mac

Fun, fun, fun! Thanks for sharing Sallie.
P.S. I hope you try painting switchplates. I'm a novice painter, too.

Fantastic photos of your day ashore. Looks like you had a very enjoyable day and experience. My wife and I like to explore places on our own so we don't usually do those organized tours.
Glad you finally arrived and are enjoying your winter getaway residence.

Makes me want to run away on vacation. I love the sign about the fun side of the wall!

Puerto Vallarta looks like a great place to live or visit, on the fun side of the wall indeed! What a great way to acclimatise yourselves to life in Florida.
Sorry it's a flying visit from me this week but I still haven't shaken this cold.
Happy MM.

Looks like a great cruise! I giggled at "the fun side of the wall"!!! Happy Monday!

Lovely post Sallie. So much blue sky and sea! Lovely mosaics! Thank you - have a great week...

Hootin' Anni

I've been to this area a few times, long ago. It's a beautiful town, with lots to see and do.

Enjoyed your photos today - and commentary.

Villroses hage

Oh, this is so different from the cold, dark north where I live....
When I see a ship, I always want to embark!

jesh stg

Docking a cruise ship must be a great skill -I have trouble enough parking my car, lol! I'm with you Sally, when we are abroad, we go to the side streets to look up restaurants that serve local food! Sounds like you enjoyed the relaxation of the cruise...? Yeah, siesta is something you have to get used to:):) It's always fun to share details like this for All Seasons - thank you much!
Enjoy this December week in Florida!

Stewart M

Never done a cruise or travelled on a boat that size. I wonder if it makes a difference that you were really going somewhere, rather than just sailing for its own sake?

Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

What a lovely place - looks colourful and vibrant. And wow - that ship is huge!

Sally ~ what a wonderful time for you both and such beautiful photos ~ glad you are settled in Fl for the winter ~ enjoy each moment.

Happy Week to you,

I'm showing my age but I can't hear Puerot Vallarta without thinking of the Love Boat. Absolutely gorgeous blues in the sky and water. Lovely post - thanks for sharing.

HOW Grand! Totally love the beaches and the sign and I would have to agree the FUN Side...the weather looks amazing too. You just can't go wrong with Tequila!

David Gascoigne

I am glad that you took the opportunity to immerse yourself in a little local culture away from the normal tourist haunts. That's how you really get to know a place. I would love to have been able to try one of those margaritas. Recently we had dinner at a friend's house and he cooked shrimp in tequila and lime juice. It was terrific!

William Kendall

Beautiful shots!

Thank you for visiting me again Sally. What a beautiful ttrip you are making . I love your pictures and what a hugh boat that is.

Great photos - perfect days with blue skies, water, and palm trees!!!

Hello Sallie, we like to explore on our own during the port stops too. Pretty view of Cabo while cruising past. PV looks interesting, glad you found a nice restaurant for some local food. I like the fun side of wall sign. Thanks for sharing your trip. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and week ahead!
