Stunning colors! You are a bit ahead of us, as we are just starting to see colors. I love fall.

Amy Franks

Are those California poppies i see? we have them here in Spring.

Annie

Thank you, Sallie for these beautiful Fall's pictures. We have the same colors here, and it begins to be cold in the morning and in the evening. I like particularly the roses. We have one orange rose tree in our garden and it's blooming for last June. A great pleasure !

Rajlakshmi

I love to see the change of colors too. Beautiful photos. The colors look so bright and lively. It's spring here so a great time to be out.

riitta k

The autumn can be beautiful & colorful, too. Wishing you a happy weekend.

Michelle

Lovely colors in these photos. Not a season I enjoy more than fall. I always look forward to the transition. Thanks for linking up today.

Our temps are jumping around from hot to comfortable, but it's the lower overnight lows that tell me fall has finally arrived. I didn't know Portland was known as the "City of Roses". Beautiful shots!

Delia

Great photos!
I am happy to see so many beautiful things all over the world through these link parties!

Jade @ Captured by Jade

Lovely colours in the captures - the summer to autumn (fall) transition is always a beauty & joy to experience.

Linda W.

Love the flowers! Nice to see all the colors.

DeniseinVA

Great to see all your pretty Autumnal photos. Looks beautiful out there and those roses seem to be putting on quite a show. Enjoy the rest of your week Sallie :)

I would love to travel by train somewhere! It's at the top of my wish list! Love being downtown in a city and able to walk everywhere or take a bus. Lovely photos. It's still hot down here...come on down! heehee!

Debbie

your offerings are so lovely today sallie, really showing off autumns beauty. i was going to say that about the "living room", where are all the people?? the wall of ivy/growth is exceptionally beautiful, lucky you to see that!!!

it is suppose to be 90 today, with not rain in our past or future. i am still watering the lawn it is so dry!!! i am waiting "impatiently" for fall!!

It's nice to be able to see the changes. I can't imagine living somewhere they don't.
Your photos are so pretty! We are slowly getting into spring, but today was a definitely setback to winter!

It's great to see you joining us on 'My Corner of the World' this week!

Would LOVE To visit Oregon one day! Thanks for sharing!

tomthebackroadstraveller

...I've never been to Eugene, but visited Portland every summer for a number of years. Thanks for showing me around this beautiful part of the country.

Lorrie

I love the change of seasons and summer to autumn is one of the prettiest, in my mind. You have shown some lovely colour in Oregon - it's changing here, too, and we can see a bit of frost on the roofs in the morning. Brrr. Stay warm!

Linda P

Being in an area where you can see the changing colours and beauty of the Fall (Autumn) season is special. Love your photos of Portland that you took on your visit there. I like the one of the trees by the steps in the park. Good colour match - trees and steps! Beautiful roses in the City of Roses.

Su-sieee! Mac

Same thing happened here, too, with the weather. We're snuggling under blankets in the living room which pleases Miss Molly. I'm hoping we can make it until November before turning on the heater. Maybe I'll bake more.
I love that your trip to and around Portland was with public transportation. That's one thing I miss about living in a city.

Nan

A lovely, lovely post!

Yogi

Great photos. We are still running our air conditioners and have the ceiling fan on at night.

Sondra

The fall will be a welcome change when it arrives the colors you found are really brilliant! Public transit is a better way to get around in a busy city.

Laila

The same beautiful colors here in Sweden. :-)

William Kendall

Pretty colours!

I've taken my first fall colours shots today.

Fun60

I am envious of your blue skies and those gorgeous Autumn colours. I am in Cornwall at the moment. The rain is torrential and there are flood warnings out for the coastal areas (which is where I am)!

MaryBeth Schwartz

Very nice. I lived in Portland while my father went to college---me--grades 3 through 6. I liked it there but we moved back to the ?seattle area

Amazing Fall pictures!Hugs!

Beautiful colours. UK Midlands have lovely sunshine this morning, but frosts are promised later this week!

Eileen

Hello Sallie,
Beautiful fall colors, the trees are lovely. Beautiful flower mosaic. It is nice to spend time in the city and not worry about driving. I would like the gardens and zoo. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

diane

It must be lovely to experience Fall. We have to travel interstate or up the mountains to see Autumn colours.

Junieper/Jesh

So true, Sallie! The changes keep life interesting. You have quite a collection of bright and beautiful flowers. Love them:) And the bright leaves of that huge ivy is enviable:)Portland is a beautiful city:) Here, it became really Fall weather today and tomorrow with the woodstove on, and low 40ties at night. Am pinching myself, do I really still live in California? Many thanks for linking up to All Seasons, and enjoy your Autumn week:)

Veronica Lee

Fabulous photos, Sallie. The colours are so pretty and you've captured them beautifully.

riitta k

Beautiful autumn colors & atmosphere. Happy MM.

Lady Fi

Love all those beautiful autumn colours!

Pat

Hi Sallie
Beautiful photos! I have Portland and Oregon on my bucket list--we have not visited as yet!
Autumn color was a little late in Colorado this year, maybe because of all our unusually warm weather? It's finally appearing in the mountains and we hope to take a ride to see it soon.

Life Images by Jill

the autumn colours are glorious. Enjoy! Have a fabulous week. I am joining you at All Seasons.

Gaelyn

Nice to see Fall colors in a pretty place like Portland.

ellen b.

You found some great color. Sounds like a relaxing way to enjoy Portland arriving by train. We had snow this weekend...unheard of in September at least since the 1920's!

Angie

Sallie - I am smiling with irony at your post - in a matter of days, we have gone from fall to winter - as I type this, it is snowing lightly outside and for the last two days the temperature has lingered below 40 degrees. Yikes. What I wouldn't give to be in the flower garden in Portland (which we have visited before). I know we will see warmer temps again, but for the moment I am torn between enjoying the scene outside and mourning a too-short Autumn! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Cathy Keller

What exquisite colors in your flowers! Thank you! Have a wonderful week!

Carol

You captured all the beautiful colors of fall!
