Pat

You were fortunate to see the lunar eclipse! It was cool and overcast here. I'm glad you had your second booster--we also had that in May as we had our first boosters a bit earlier than most people did. I still wear a mask in crowded places but I noticed we are a minority in that regard. I spent this week cleaning up the yard and planting vegetables and flowers. I now have the aches and pains to prove it--lol!

NatureFootstep

love your shots of the full eclipse of the moon. It was a long time I´ve seen one as we have been unlucky with weather.
Glad to see your nature shots.

mae

Good to hear that normal (normal-ish?) rainfall is arriving and making places for the water birds! A newly remodeled bathroom sounds great.

Well done with the moon shots, Sallie. It's wonderful to be able to capture these natural events in this manner. And a new bathroom too! What a great week!

Eileen

Hello Sallie,
Love your Little Blue Heron and the Egret. Beautiful birds. Sounds like you had the perfect spot for watching the eclipse. Your photos are awesome! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.

Jim, Sydney, Australia

Cool.

Gaelyn

So glad you got to watch the lunar eclipse. It was quite a show, and you photographed it beautifully. I know a lot of people missed it because of clouds.

Jocelyn

Really amazing.

Sharon Wagner

I'm contemplating my 3rd booster. stay safe! At least it is safe in the outdoors, where I like to be.

Iris Flavia

Oh, what a wonderful start into the day!!!
I hardly remember when we last had thunder and lightning!
Rain we had, I even made movies.
And this long weekend (Father´s Day) seems to be full of rain, too.
That moon is wonderful.
We have way too much light pollution for this view.
A statue, cute idea.
Your bathroom sounds great. We (hopefully also only half of us) will have fun with the kitchen sink - wish us (him) luck!

Judy

Fabulous shots of the eclipse. Love your pics of the blue heron and the egrets. I'm sure you are happy the bathroom is finished. Take care.

Amy Franks

it's good you got your booster, we all here ended up getting triple vaxxed but we still got covid in the end, I wonder how much worse it would've been if he hadn't been vaccinated.

Soma @ InkTorrents.com

Yay for the booster shot and the bathroom project being finished. That sounds really wonderful. Such lovely photos of the birds. I am glad you had good weather for you to enjoy the beautiful eclipse. You got some amazing photos of it too. Very dramatic.

Sallie - incredible shots of the lunar eclipse! And I love the egret photos. We are on Grand Cayman right now, and I was thrilled to see a dozen or so small egrets in (what I guess is a temporary) puddle of water along the road. Maybe I will go back and take some pictures! Congrats to your hubby on the bathroom construction project! And thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Lavender Dreams

I love little blues and yours has such beautiful deep colors. We've had a few rain showers here but most everything soaked right in. And how wonderful to watch the eclipse. We stood out in the driveway a couple of times in the middle of the night. We were surprised no one else was outside! You got wonderful photos! WOW!

Bob Bushell

Beautiful images, the moon, Purple Heron and the Great Egret, you can beat them, thanks Sallie.

Great job shooting the Moon. We also have Egrets. They are also fun to see.

Hazel

What booster jabs do you get in Florida? I was really ill for eight days after the Moderna, and a week ago the Astra Zeneca one knocked me out too. The latter gave me no trouble for the first two.

Fun60

The eclipse photos are incredible and you didn't even have to go anywhere to get them. Must be exciting to be able to use your new bathroom knowing it is exactly the design you wanted.

Eileen

Hello,
Your eclipse photos are awesome, beautiful moon. Love the Little Blue and the Egret images. I am sure you will enjoy your new bathroom, it is great you have a talented hubby to do the work. Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.

Heidrun

Wow... what fantastisc captures of the moon. We sleep at this time and had seen next day on the news in TV.

The bird is wonderful. You have a good eye, to see them on the pond of the neighbours.

Have a good week.

Happy MosaicMonday

Lorrie Orr

Those moon shots are wonderful! Cloudy here, so I didn't even bother staying up late. Reno projects are great when they are completed. Have a good week!

Sondra

Great moon Shots...Glad your project is all wrapped up and a success...my dogs do not like TS no matter what time of day they think that I control the weather...lol

Carol

great job with the eclipse photos - I can't take decent moon photos at all. Yes all the feathered gang will return to the water.
